Frequently Asked Questions
Who are the tutors?
Our tutors are trained high school volunteers who are passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact. Each tutor undergoes a short onboarding process and is committed to providing encouraging support.
Where do lessons take place virtually?
All tutoring sessions are conducted via Zoom. Your specific tutor will send out the Zoom meeting info a day before your scheduled session to ensure you have it in advance.
How long is a lesson?
Each lesson is 30 minutes long and typically focuses on one to two topics. Tutors will screen share worksheets and provide step-by-step guidance, helping students understand and complete the materials interactively.
Can I request a change in tutor or schedule?
Yes! If your child’s availability changes or if you’d like to request a different tutor, please reach out to our team by sending an email and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
